George Thana, CPA PC

George Thana has extensive experience in tax services, auditing, and financial consulting, including business planning, business evaluation and management services. His experience includes a broad range of small businesses emphasizing in retail and service sector such as wholesale distributors, Auto repair shops, Auto body shops, trucking companies, beauty salons, pest control, farming, convenience store, restaurants, gas stations, various contractors, etc.

George left India after graduating from High School and studied Business Administration at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. As soon as he graduated from Goethe University with a Master’s Degree in Business, he arrived in the United States on a management internship selected by the university and obtained training in all aspects of banking. He completed the post-baccalaureate program in accounting and business law at Portland State University while he was working full time at the bank. As a CPA intern and staff accountant, he obtained training in a local CPA firm servicing a wide variety of small businesses. Before he started the public accounting practice in 1992, he was controller for a wholesale distribution company for more than nine years.

George holds a Certified Public Accounting certificate from the State of Oregon, dated January 23rd, 1984. George is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1984.
